Clarification regarding the safe release of the three NLD members from Taungup Township

The United League of Arakan/Arakan Army took three NLD members from Taungup Township in Arakan, U Min Aung, Daw Ni Ni May Myint, and Daw Chit Chit Chaw on 14 October 2020, as required by the military and political imperatives of the Arakanese revolution.

Today at 2:35 pm, an Arakan Army Transfer Team successfully handed over the three Taungup NLD members to a Myanmar Army Reception Team in Mee Kyaung Tat village, Myebon Township, Arakan.

The Arakanese peoples would like the NLD government, in a spirit of reciprocity, love, and generosity for peace, to release the Arakanese politicians and civilians who were arrested by the NLD government under various sections without committing any crime. These releases should also include members of the Arakan Army who are being detained under various circumstances as soon as feasible, in the same manner as the United League of Arakan/Arakan Army has just done.
